Vacancy Details of IMU 2023:
- Associate Professor (Marine Engineering /Nautical Science) – 14
- Assistant Professor (Marine Engineering /Nautical Science) – 12
Educational Qualification:
(i) Associate Professor (Marine Engineering) :
- Candidates must have passed a Ph.D. Degree in relevant discipline with a minimum 2 Year experience or equivalent from a recognized Board.
(ii) Associate Professor (Nautical Science) :
- Candidates must have passed a Ph.D. Degree in relevant discipline with a minimum 2 Year experience or equivalent from a recognized Board.
(iii) Assistant Professor (Nautical Science/Marine Engineering) :
- Candidates must have passed a B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech degree in Marine Engineering with at least 55% marks with a minimum 6-month sailing Experience or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
(iv)Assistant Professor (Nautical Science) :
- Candidates must have passed a Ph.D. Degree in relevant discipline with a Teaching experience or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Age Limit :
- Maximum Age Limit: 60 – 65 Years

- Associate Professor – Rs.28 Lakhs per year
- Assistant Professor – Rs.13 Lakhs per year
